GNOSIS builds accountability tools for people, and accessibility is part of that commitment. We want this Site to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a practical target for this Site.
What we do
- Semantic page structure and headings so screen readers can navigate the content.
- Keyboard access to interactive elements.
- Colour choices intended to provide readable contrast in our dark interface.
- Text alternatives that describe our images, including a note that our scene images are illustrations.
- Respect for the reduced-motion setting in your browser or operating system, which turns off non-essential animation.
Known limits
This is an early-stage site and some interactive parts are still being refined. We are working to improve accessibility as the product develops.
